Bikestan gets into the Halloween Groove!

Report filed by Sasha Scheherzade Karachi, Oct 28, 2016, Friday - Bicycling season is fast catching up in the mega metropolis in recent times with bicycling enthusiasts from all quarters joining the healthier alternative offered by different bicycling groups that are acting as chief motivators. Another unique bicycling activity was organized by the Bikestan Academy, known as the Halloween Night Ride with emphasis on reclaiming public spaces in a unique manner. The sporting activity was spearheaded by Shoaib Nizami, founder and leading member of the group. The ride started at the allotted time from the group's headquarter at Bukhari Commercial, Phase VI, DHA vicinity of the city. Chain Reaction and Wednesday Night Riders Go Pink for a Purpose!

by Sasha Scheherzade Once more the Chain Reaction, a group of vibrant bicyclists from Karachi, successfully organized its infamous Wednesday Night Ride courtesy the group founder and custodian Anila Weldon and Administrator CR Noman Nafees; with a cause to promote Pink Ribbon campaign thus mixing purpose with passion. The bicyclists in Pink assembled on their allotted location at Total Gas Station of Phase 6 DHA vicinity and set out on the appointed time i.e., at 2030 hours. An approximate 100 plus bicyclists joined the Chain Reaction's bicycle campaign as they pedaled towards their desired destination near Ali Mosque between Kh-e-Muhafiz and Kh-e-Rahat; thus covering a circuit of 24kms at medium pace.
